Propose an Initiative

Do you have a change your student organization wants to bring to campus? If you do all your student organization needs to do is research the change they want to bring, create a presentation containing the research including a plan on implementing the change, then submit the form below, and finally attend the USG Leadership Conference on October 7th to present your initiative. The winning initiative will get a $100 Visa Gift Card.

  • All undergrad student organizations' executive boards are invited to participate.
  • There is no entry fee required to participate.
  • Each team shall consist of three to six members who must be enrolled in classes full-time for Fall 2022.
  • Teams shall utilize relevant university resources for their presentation and cite their sources.
  • By participating, the top 3 teams agree to appear on the USG website.
  • Registration opens on September 1st and closes on September 30th.
  • Choose an initiative you would like to see implemented at our campus and focus on how this could be done.
  • Specify the targeted audience.
  • Be prepared to update your initiative idea over time as new information arises.
  • The USG Senate will decide and announce the winner at the conference.
